"Skip" Miles Brozowsky was born June 18, 1947 in Santa Maria, California.  His Father was of polish heritage from Scranton, Pennsylvania who served in the Marine Corp, worked for the FBI and then was Manager of Industrial Security for the Space Program through Rockwell International.  His Mother was of English and German descent from the Santa Maria Valley in California.  She worked within the home and was a true Patriot and an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Colonists.  His parents provided the example of bringing a little bit of Heaven to earth for those around them.  Skip spent his growing years in Minnesota, South Dakota, Michigan, California and Texas.  He was a member of the DeMolay in Anaheim, California.  He attended Loara High School, Anaheim, California; Brown Military Academy, Glendora, California; and graduated from Clear Creek High School, League City, Texas in 1966.  Skip met his High School sweetheart, Sue, while on a double date (she was with the other guy)!  Skip submitted Sue's name for Homecoming Queen while attending Brown Military Academy and Sue was picked as the Queen.  Sue was always a Queen in Skip's eyes.  After graduating from High School Skip joined the Army and served in Viet Nam.  After being honorably discharged Skip and Sue were married on July 18, 1970 in Garden Grove, CA.

After serving in the Army Skip worked for the JCPenney Company in the Hardware Department.  He then obtained his General Contractor's License specializing in the eletrical trade and worked on various construction jobs which he continued throughout his life.  They moved to Santa Barbara for a brief time and then relocated to the pristine Ojai Valley in 1976, where he resided for the balance of his years.  Skip and Sue became proud parents of their loving daughters, Jennifer and Kathleen and were active with their Church and home schooling.  Skip attended Ventura College and received his Associated Arts Degree.  In 1980, he began working for the US Navy at the base in Port Hueneme, retiring as a Computer Security Manager in 2009.

Miles had many interests including motorcycle racing, surfing, stamp collecting, amateur radio, classic car building, hockey, and eBay.  The American Red Cross and the American Radio Relay League recognized him for outstanding volunteer service during the Ventura County fires and storms in 1983 and 1985.

He was blessed with the birth of his granddaughter Layla Sage Walker and cherished the time that he had with her.

Skip loved life and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.  He loved his family, God and Country.  His family will always hold him dear in our hearts and we will miss him greatly!
